FLUX 3 Action
ModelActiveFLUX 3 Action is an open-weights 7B world action model released by Black Forest Labs on 2026-09-23. It extends the company's FLUX generative-modeling stack into robotics: the model takes camera frames, the robot's state, and a text instruction, and returns the next chunk of actions together with predicted video frames. The release ships three official variants on HuggingFace under the black-forest-labs organization: flux-3-action-base (adaptation base), flux-3-action-droid (fine-tuned on the DROID dataset), and flux-3-action-so101 (for the SO-101 arm). The flux-3-action-droid model card states the variant was fine-tuned on DROID and reports first place on the RoboLab-120 benchmark (120 tabletop tasks in Isaac Sim, 10 trials each, on a DROID-style Franka setup) at 42.92% task success (company-reported, not independently verified). The model is distributed under the FLUX Kommunity License v1.0, with code available in the black-forest-labs/flux-action GitHub repository. It positions itself against larger competing world action models by offering open weights at roughly half the parameter count reported for comparable closed models in the same leaderboard segment.
