OpenBridge

OpenBridge is the open-source developer ecosystem of Zeroth Robotics, launched on September 2, 2026 together with the Zeroth Bridge robot. The official GitHub documentation (document V1.0) describes OpenBridge as "the open-source ecosystem of Zeroth Robotics", with Zeroth Bridge as its robot body, and positions it as the first fully open-source ecosystem for developers in embodied intelligence, whose core value is lowering the barrier to embodied-robot development and skill creation. Open-source content is organized into three hubs: OpenBridge-Robot-Hub (connecting the robot to the hardware boundary - device integration, environment setup, and enclosure, interface, and accessory specifications), OpenBridge-Skill-Hub (skill development - SDK, API, skill templates, and official examples), and OpenBridge-Simulation-Hub (simulation and validation - simulation examples, getting-started code, debugging, and FAQs). Each repository keeps a CHANGELOG recording release notes, and the documentation version is V1.0. OpenBridge is fully open source under the GPLv3 license. Per its documentation, unlike projects that open only part of their software, OpenBridge provides no extra restricted-tier SDK or API. It offers unified development tools, shared training resources, and a Skill Hub marketplace as a standardized collaboration base for developers, enthusiasts, and hardware partners. The ecosystem is community-oriented: robot skills and technical solutions are freely shared, reused, and iterated, and hardware interfaces are reserved to support DIY builds, appearance mods, and third-party hardware.
