World Labs

World Labs is a frontier AI research and product company working on spatial intelligence: world models that perceive, generate, reason, and interact with virtual and physical worlds. The company was founded by AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li alongside Justin Johnson, Ben Mildenhall, and Christoph Lassner, described by World Labs as leaders in machine learning, generative AI and compute. World Labs describes world models as systems that understand how worlds appear, behave, and evolve, so that imagined worlds can be rendered for creative users, the real world can be simulated in high fidelity, and robots can plan actions. The company frames spatial intelligence as transforming "seeing into doing, perceiving into reasoning, and imagining into creating". Its product line includes Marble (marble.worldlabs.ai), a 3D world-generation product, and the Atlas world model, introduced on September 1, 2026, which World Labs states will power future versions of Marble.
