G1

G1 is Unitree Robotics' entry-level bipedal humanoid robot, notable for its aggressive pricing starting at 99,000 RMB (approximately $13,000-$14,000) — making it one of the most affordable humanoid robots in the world. Standing 127 cm tall and weighing just 35 kg, it is compact enough for research and education applications while capable enough for commercial exploration. G1 features 23-43 degrees of freedom depending on configuration, achieves speeds of up to 2 m/s, and runs for approximately 2 hours on a single charge. The robot supports ROS2 and offers an open SDK for custom development, positioning it as a development and research platform rather than a finished commercial product.
