Unitree Go1
RobotUnitree Go1 is a consumer-grade quadruped robot dog launched in 2021 by Unitree Robotics. It was the world's first consumer-grade accompanied bionic quadruped, available in three variants: Go1 Air, Go1 Pro, and Go1 Education (Edu). All variants share: 12 silver-alloy precision joint motors with large joint movement space (body: -49° to 49°, thigh: -39° to 257°, shank: -161° to -51°), Intelligent Side-Follow System (ISS) with patented wireless vector positioning, RTT 1 image transmission, heat pipe assisted heat dissipation, and a load capacity of approximately 4 kg (limit ~10 kg, Edu variant ~6 kg). Go1 Air — Entry-level variant with 1 pair of Super Sensory System (SSS), 1 sensing calculation unit (4×1.43GHz, 128 Core, 0.5T), 24V/4A charger, motion speed 0–2.5 m/s. Go1 Pro — Mid-range variant with 5 pairs of SSS, 3 sensing calculation units (each 4×1.43GHz, 128 Core, 0.5T), 24V/6A charger, motion speed 0–3.5 m/s. Go1 Edu — Education variant with 5 pairs of SSS, Jetson-based computing (2 Nano + 1 Nano or 1 Xavier NX), 24V/6A charger, motion speed 0–3.7 m/s (limit ~5 m/s), and a higher load capacity of approximately 6 kg. The Go1 uses a 6000mAh lithium-ion battery providing 1–2.5 hours of runtime. Base model (Air) pricing started at $2,700 USD. The Go1 was succeeded in 2023 by the Go2, which added 4D LiDAR and GPT-powered AI interaction.
