Unitree H2

Robotactive

Unitree H2 is a next-generation full-size humanoid robot platform developed by Unitree Robotics, unveiled in 2025. In June 2026, Unitree partnered with NVIDIA to introduce the H2+ reference design built on the Isaac GR00T system, further enhancing the platform's AI capabilities. Standing approximately 182 cm tall and weighing 70 kg, the H2 features 31 degrees of freedom (6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist, and 2 in the neck/head). Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, titanium alloy, and high-strength engineering plastics, the H2 balances structural durability with reduced weight for agile motion. The H2 delivers significant joint torque: 120 N·m in the arms and 360 N·m in the legs, supporting nuanced biomechanical motion and posture control. Its motion capabilities extend beyond basic walking to fluid movements, expressive gestures, and dynamic control behaviors showcasing low-inertia motor design and advanced motion planning algorithms. The robot is priced at approximately $90,000. The platform integrates humanoid binocular cameras with wide field of view, voice interaction hardware (microphone array and speakers), Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and OTA software updates. Optional NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor compute module supports advanced AI inference, motion learning, and perception models. The H2 runs a proprietary Unitree stack and is designed for robotics research, human-robot interaction, and light-duty manipulation applications.
